The OU offers three graduate programs: a Master of Science (MS) in Health Practice, a Doctor of Science (DSc) in Health Sciences, and a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Human Leadership. All programs are taught online and require students to possess basic online skills.
The DSc in Health Sciences (i.e., Health Promotion-Disease Prevention) is designed for individuals with a master's or bachelor's degree in a health-related field, with a concentration in integrative health promotion/disease prevention (no licensure required). The program requires 60 credits (45 credits of coursework + a 15 credit thesis), a 3.0 GPA, an English-Proficiency Assessment, including TOEFL score of 550 (PBT)/80 (iBT) or equivalent, or the assessment by the Language Center of Admission and Dean’s Offices, and a committee-approved thesis. Duration ranges from 2 to 5 years.
The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Management is designed for senior executives and requires a master's degree or first professional degree in a business administration-related field. Students must complete 60 credits (45 credits of coursework + a 15 credit thesis), maintain a 3.0 GPA, pass an English-Proficiency Assessment, including TOEFL score of 550 (PBT)/80 (iBT) or equivalent, or the assessment by the Language Center of Admission and Dean’s Offices, and submit a thesis. Duration ranges from 2 to 5 years. All programs have an advisory committee, and graduation requires approval by the dean/president.
